Action Items:



Approval of last meeting findings



The findings of last meeting have been summarized by Fabrizio Boldrini and approved by all the partners. All the deadlines of the project document have been respected.



2) Open Issues



à All the partners presented the national papers on local education and teaching systems. The Italian partners worked together to the preparation of the research and published the paper together.


Due to schools summer holiday and the difficulties in taking contacts with the school headmasters, the databases needs to be finalised by all the partners as per following deadline table.



à Fabrizio Boldrini presented the project web site and platform and all the partners agreed with the web site layout and contents and with the platform structure.



à Working Groups identification: the coordinator Centro Studi Villa Montesca will take part to all the WGs. Alenka Obid asked to to move her organisation (Science and Research Centre _ Sl) from WG "European Literature and Culture" to "History of European Integration" since their history department is well experienced.

à Regarding the WGs organization all the partners agreed the coordinator presentation.



à As for the Scientific Committees Mr. Panayiotis will substitute Mr. Solomou. Alenka Obid will participate together with the previously identified colleague.



à As for the Dissemination Committee Mr. Panayiotis will substitute Mr. Solomou. Mihalela Poroch asked to change Maria Achitenei with Mihaela Popa, previously identified.



à As for the training for trainers plan on e-learning all the partners agreed to start the activities in September 2006 at the beginning of the new school year, once all the curricula will be ready for being experimented.



New Issues



à Fabrizio Boldrini presented the curricula index and scheme, which have been agreed by all the partners. Besides all the partners agreed to ask to the project coordinator to edit a general guideline for producing the curricula.



à All the partners asked to the coordinator to prepare the curricula index. Additionally the partner E-ducation (which wasn’t attending the meeting) has been given the task to single out the technical requirements for putting on-line the curricula.



à Tzvetan Tzvetanski proposed a deadline for identifying the members and experts of the working groups and asked to the coordinator to edit an agreement model for the schools involvement. All the partners agreed.



à Alenka Obid asked how many students for each school shall be involved in the experimentation phase. The coordinator proposed one class for each participating school. All the partners agreed. As for the teachers to be involved in the on-line training for trainers, each school may choose how many teachers to involve.



à All the partners asked to get the European Commission and Insula Europae logos.

3) Next Meeting



All the partners agreed that the third project meeting will be held in Nicosia (CY) on May 2006 and will be therefore organised by the Cypriot partner "INTERCOLLEGE".
